I've finally got around to starting a blog for my gorgeous son Ciaran, who happens to have translocation T21 down syndrome.
Ciaran was born last June 8th and when we found out 8 hours after his birth that he had downs syndrome we could never have predicted the rollercoaster ride it would send us on. Thats the only way I can explain it - there was plenty of downs and recently there have been plenty of ups too.
I'm hoping that by sharing our story some of the prejudices about down syndrome can be dispelled a little bit.
